Astronomy for all and P-Star Founder
Dr. Malcolm Druett
Malcolm Druett is a lecturer in Space Systems at the University of Sheffield, UK. He was formerly head of the not-for-profit British Romanian Educational Exchange (BREDEX). He conceived of this project while stood in front of a world-map showing employee origins at an institution. The map was intended to demonstrate a global reach, but which had conspicuous gaps aside from countries with large amounts of astronomical infrastructure. His goal is to help talented people and groups from countries around the world to access and explore data that is open-source.
